General Policy

Credit card details are required at the time of booking in order to secure the reservation.
As a rule, payment is taken on check-out. However, deposit or full advance payments can be taken if a guest prefers. We may occasionally request deposits for certain bookings, such as larger group reservations or bookings for special events.

STANDARD TERMS
Should you cancel the booking more than 2 weeks in advance of your scheduled arrival date no cancellation payment is required.
For cancellations (total booking or individual room nights) within 2 weeks of the scheduled arrival date we would deduct the cost of the first night.
The total value of the booking will be charged in the event of no-show or if changes/cancellations are made less than 72 hours in advance of the scheduled arrival date.
We do make every effort to re-book rooms in the event of a cancellation and commit to refunding the full amount at which we are able to relet the room(s).
We recommend that you have travel insurance that covers you in the event that we have to deduct a cancellation payment according to the terms outlined above.

To make a cancellation you would be required to call us on +44 (0)1386 858273 or e-mail us at info@lowerfieldfarm.com. The sending of an e-mail requesting cancellation is not taken as proof of cancellation. Cancellations must always be confirmed by us in writing.

At check-out payment can be made in cash, by UK bank cheque, credit or debit card. No fees are applicable for the use of personal cards from accounts within the UK or EU. There is, however, an additional 2% processing charge for payments by corporate cards or non-UK/EU debit or credit cards.

AMENDMENTS
Please note that any subsequent amendment to this booking must be confirmed in writing by us, even if agreed verbally.

OTHER IMPORTANT POLICIES
*Check-in is generally between 16:00 to 18:00. Later check-in is generally no problem. Early check-in only by arrangement.
*We are a no smoking property though guests may smoke in the gardens.
*Pets are not permitted inside the property.
*We welcome bookings with children above the age of 8.
*We reserve the right to charge guests for any breakages. This would be calculated at the replacement or repair cost, whichever we feel is more appropriate.
